Diagnosis and Treatment of Multiple Personality

This book by Frank Putnam is considered to be the Bible of treating MPD. There are quite a few answers that are often sought after regarding what to do in situations of parts acting out, treating psuedo-medical problems that are truly body memories, and a wealth of information. The Family Inside

This is quite possibly the best book on the treatment factors of DID that I have ever read. It incorperates developmental psychology to how alters are created and what you can expect from these alters. It talks about different types of alters, and the treatment of particular alters. It really is one of the best. If SplitAngels had a 5 star rating system, this would get all 5. If you would like to buy this book, please click Here

More than One

More than One is a great beginning book to learn about MPD. We learn in simple terms what dissociation is, what personalities can be like, and the relationship of abuse and DID. It does have some spiritual content, so if thats a trigger, be careful. If you would like to buy this book, please click Here

Multiple Personality Disorder

Colin Ross, a poineer in the feild of MPD writes this treatment guide to assist those who would like to learn more on MPD. He runs a dissociative unit in a Charter Hospital near Dallas, and is quite an expert on the field of MPD. If you would like to buy this book, please click Here

Ritual Abuse

Ritual abuse is often looked upon as a myth. This book will guide you to a better understanding of Ritual Abuse and what you can do to help those that have survived it. If you would like to buy this book, please click Here

Unchained Memories

This is an important work on the study of repressed memory, and helps serve as a guide to how dissociation works. If you would like to buy this book, please click Here

Uncovering the Mystery of MPD

This book uses a more religious approach to treating MPD. Though I personally disagreed with most of what the author says, it may be benificial to read the treatment issues that are discussed. If you would like to buy this book, please click Here
