Friends and Family
This segment of Spit Angels is dedicated to the friends and family of the multiple. We understand that the survivior is not the only one surviving DID/MPD. There is the spouse, the parents, the children, and the friends.
In this segment there are stories to help children, and real life recolections of the family.
My mom is a multiple is a story for the children of the multiple parent. We know that multiplicity is not an exclusively female disorder, so for the children that have a multiple father, please substitute mom for dad.
There are many sites out there that deal with MPD and i think here is a good place to put them.This Yahoo! club is here for spouses of multiples to get together and talk about their issues with living with us.
There are also books about supporting people with MPD. I recently read The Magic Castle By Carol Smith. I thought it was very good and it made me understand the pain that supporters go through with us.
